Brest city office of the Belarusian Leftist Party Fair World has submitted another bid for state registration after the party’s activists received a communication from the city’s executive committee saying that the issue was under the administration’s control.
Fair World’s local office has been three times denied registration of the party’s legal address with reference to President’s Decree No. 479 (while it deals with entrepreneurs only) and the applicants’ failure to meet fire safety standards.
Mrs. Liudmila Dzenisenka, chair of Fair World’s local office, hopes the city executive committee will abide by the law and allow the party’s registration.
