The Supreme Court of Belarus has dismissed the appeals lodged by activists of the anarchists’ movement Artsiom Prakapenka and Pavel Syramolatau sentenced to seven years of imprisonment for alleged attack on the KGB Babruisk office, www.belaruspartisan.org reports.
“It looks like the case will not be reviewed. They are likely to serve the entire term”, says Mrs. Vialeta Prakapenka.
According to Mrs. Halina Syramolatava, the decision by the Supreme Court is a predictable one.
“We submitted the appeal three months ago and did not receive a reply in due time. We only got it before the New Year’s Day when the journalists spoke about it on TV”, says she.
