Health of Zmitser Bandarenka deteriorated

The wife of Zmitser Bandarenka, the coordinator of European Belarus civil campaign, received a letter from her husband saying his diseases aggravated.

“Nevertheless, the administration of the Mahilou penal colony fails to render proper aid to my husband,” Volha Bandarenka said to Radio Racyja.

“He writes they had a big check. It was very hard. They had to stand for a long time. He caught a cold. He went to a medical unit in the morning and received his medicines. He asked to stay ithere, but was denied. Later, they finally took him to the medical unit. Perhaps he felt really bad.”

Volha Bandarenka also notes her husband faced a more severe information isolation. Volha Bandarenka used to receive letters on political and philosophical themes that were published on websites and in newspaper, but now only letters about daily routine are delivered.
