Dashkevich still in punishment cell

A lawyer had a meeting with Dashekevich, a political prisoner and Young Front leader.

Anastasia Palazhanka, the deputy head of registered in the Czech Republic Young Front organization, visited the penal colony together with the lawyer, Radio Racyja reports.

According to her, Dashkevich is still in a punishment cell, where he was thrown for no reasons. He shares the cell with six other prisoners.

“They do not explain why, just throw there for 30 days. The most suitable place in prison for pressing on inmates is in a punishment cell. The 30-day term expires in a week, but it does not mean he may return to his barrack, though we hope he will,” Anastasia Palazhanka says.

Anastasia Palazhanka says the meeting with the lawyer lasted for 40 minutes. They talked about some legal questions in Dashkevich's case. There were prohibited to discuss other themes under a threat of closing the meeting.

The conversation was held through a glass barrier in the presence of a prison guard, though the law prescribes confidential meetings in a separate room.

According to Anastasia Palazhanka, Zmitser Dashkevich is cheerful in spite of difficult conditions.
