Brutally beaten Andrei Mouchan called to police
Andrei Mouchan, an activist of European Belarus civil campaign beaten by police officers, has been called to a city police department of the Pershamaiski district.
“I received a call from the chief of the city police department on Uruchskaya Street. He told me I should appear in his office at 6 pm. He did not say why. But I must come,” Andrei Mouchan said to Radio Svaboda.
The democratic activist complains he feels bad. “I don't feel fine. I still have headaches. I went to a local polyclinic on Saturday, but only a duty medical officer. He just prolonged a sick-leave certificate. I am going to the polyclinic now.”
Mouchan was discharged from hospital and sent to get treatment in a polyclinic on May 25. The discharge summary says he has only a mild head injury. The summary does not mention fractures of the lower jaw and ribs and injuries from blows to kidneys and legs.
