Picket “Beds for everyone” banned
Post graduate student Alyaksei Paulouski was not allowed to hold a picket near the Academy of Science.
Alyaksei Paulouski wanted to carry out a picket to attract attention to refusal to give him a bed in the hall of residence, Euroradio reports.
The reply of the Minsk city executive committee says repair works are planned in Akademichnaya Street near the Institution of Physiology at the time applied by Paulouski.
We remind the young scientist was going to have a picket in front of his institute on May 30. The Academy of Science has been refusing to give him a room in the hall of residence since the beginning of the year, so Alyaksei has to rent a room.
Alyaksei Paulouski was expelled from a post-graduate programme after his complaints to Lukashenka Administration and the Ministry of Education. Later, he managed to reinstate through court action.
