“Granite” administration continues ignoring independent trade union

According to the website Media-Palesse, the accountant’s office of the “Granite” plant doesn’t exact member fees from wages of the workers who are members of the trade union.

The head of the trade union organization Aleh Stakhayevich states that about 30 workers have filed applications for exaction of the membership fees, but these applications are still ignored in violation of ruling of the Council of Ministers #1282, according to which membership fees must be kept in non-cash.

Activists of the independent trade state they will try to settle the incident by talks with the enterprise administration.
