Minsk activist of the Belarusian Christian Democracy Party Mrs. Nadzeya Iulskaya will not be able to stage two pickets calling voters to boycott the forthcoming parliamentary election, the BCD press-service reports.
The first picket scheduled for 28 July was banned under Art. 9 of the Mass Events Code, which prohibits staging pickets within 50 meters of metro stations. The other picket was expected to be held on 30 July. The exact reason for the ban is not reported.
