Journalist Vital Ruhain detained again

Vital Ruhain and his friend Syarhei Kurakou were detained on the evening of July 25 and taken to the Leninski district police department of Minsk. The information was confirmed by a witness, who saw them in the police department. Ruhain made a call to a Euroradio journalist. “You said you'd take me to the Tsentralny district police department. Why are we going to the Leninski district?” he was heard talking to a policemen. He then hang up his cell phone.
As it was figured out, an administrative report was drawn up against the journalist. He was taken to a detention centre on Akrestin Street until trial scheduled for Thursday.
The mother of the journalist received this information from the Leninski district police department. Vital was detained on his 25th birthday.
