Political prisoner Pavel Seviarynets appeals against illegal censorship
Political prisoner Pavel Seviarynets filed two complaints to the Department of
Corrections and the Prosecutor General's Office at the ungrounded ban for
political prisoners Yauhen Vaskovich
and Mikalai Statkevich to hold
correspondence with him, bchd.info reports.
BCD co-head demands to allow him to resume correspondence with Vaskovich and
Statkevich and punish the censors, who violate the law.
As charter97.org informed
earlier, former presidential candidate Mikalai Statkevich and BCD activist
Yauhen Vaskovich were forbidden to write letters to Pavel Seviarynets.
This information was received from Statkevich's wife Maryna Adamovich. According to her, her husband was given an
envelope from Pavel Seviarynets, but instead of a letter he found there a
notification that correspondence was banned.
