Zmitser Dashkevich, leader of the Young Front movement serving his two-year sentence in a penal colony in the town of Hlybokaye, Vitsebsk region, has been sentenced to one more year in jail on charges of violating prison regime.
The verdict pronounced in a closed trial says the opposition activist should stay behind bars until August 28, 2013.
Ahead of the trial, Zmitser Dashkevich said he would not need his lawyer’s assistance, as he declared the trial illegal and politically motivated.
