Dzianis Sadouski isolated in detention center
Dzianis Sadouski, an executive secretary of the
organizing committee to create the Belarusian Christian Democracy party (BCD),
has been moved to another cell in the detention center in Akrestin Street.
Sadouski cannot see and hear what happens outside jail, who comes to support
him and bring parcels, the BCD press service reports. The information was
received from former cellmates of Dzianis
Sadouski. BCD co-chairman Vital Rymasheuski
says the jail staff accepted a parcel for Sadouski on 3 September.
Bear in mind that the BCD executive secretary Dzianis Sadouski was sentenced to
10 days in custody on 28 August on accusations of alleged disorderly conduct
(Article 17.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). He was to bring copies
of party bulletin “Krynitsa” with information about the “election” boycott
prepared specially for the BCD National Convention. A real reason for his
arrest is still unknown. The jail staff refused to pass parcels to him on 2
September.
