Last week the correspondent of the private newspaper “Intex-press” Kanstantsin Litvin phoned to the head of the conscription department of the Baranavichy city military enlistment office Aliaksandr Barchankou to ask him about the pace of the conscription campaign.

The latter answered that this information is for internal use only, and advised to apply to the military commissar. However, the military commissar Vadzim Karolik refused to provide him with the requested information as well, saying “Intex-press” wasn't accredited at the Ministry of Defense.

Bear in mind that the editorial office of “Intex-press” has already taken an attempt to get accredited at the Ministry of Defense, but received a denial, not being a state-owned newspaper. Soon the editorial office will make another attempt to get accredited there.
