Political prisoner Statkevich doesn't receive books
The political prisoner wrote it in a letter to his wife. He writes he knows that his friends made numerous attempts to send books to him. Unfortunately, he cannot receive them. He asks to send them to his wife so that she could keep them as a sign of solidarity, statkevich.org infroms.
Mikalai Statekvich wrote about physical health and an opportunity
to see the sun:
“I forgot to say: I am taken for a walk at
9:30 or sometimes at 10 a.m. Even on sunny days it can be seen only
at noon in late February, because the yards have rather high walls.
However, it's enough just to see the light sky.”

Statkevich was arrested at a rally against the rigged results of the
pre-initialises elections on 19 December 2010. More than 700
protesters, including presidential candidate Andrei
Sannikau,
Uladzimir Niakliayeu,
Ales Mikhalevich
and members of their teams, were arrested.
On 26 May 2011,
Minsk's Partyzanski District Court sentenced the politician to 6
years in a medium security penal colony.
