An activist of the anarchist
movement Mikalai Dziadok was sentenced to four years in prison for
participating in attacks on a number of buildings in Minsk. He did
not acknowledge the guilt. On 4 December the Shklou district court at
its assizes decided to send Mikalai Dziadok to a closed-type prison.
Human rights activists in Belarus consider the conviction of Mikalai
Dziadok politically motivated.
On 5 December the Shklou
District Court decided to send Mikalai Dziadok to a closed-type
prison as a “malicious violator of the prison regime”.
