Employees of Bykhau-based branch of Babushkina Krynka dairy factory were made to subscribe to Sovetskaya Belorussia newspaper.
The information was received from a reader of charter97.org website.
Employees of Bykhauski branch (former Bykhovmoloko factory) were subscribed to the newspaper on the order of the new chairman of the district executive committee Dzmitry Kaleyeu.
Workers of the factory lost 198,000 rubles (the cost of the subscription) from their wages. They were also forced to give their consent in writing. About 50% of employees refused to subscribe, but their signatures were forged.
