Tamara Siarhei summonsed to police instead of audience at Presidential Administration
"On 4 February I was summonsed to
the main police department of the Minsk City Executive
Committee.
The senior inspector Aleh Zoshchyk stated that the
General Prosecutor's Office had charged them with clearing the
circumstances of my visit to the Presidential Administration on 20
December 2012. However, the inspector refused to show me the text of
the errand saying that the document was restricted.
I think
that this document contains groundless insinuations of workers of the
Prosecutor's Office. As far as the Constitution of the Republic of
Belarus guarantees the right to freedom of opinion, I refused to
comment on their guesses and opinions. I also filed and appeal to the
head of the Main Police Department of the Minsk City Executive
Committee that the prosecutor's office was exerting psychological
pressure on me.
It's worth noting that on 20 December I really
paid a visit to the Administration of President of the Republic of
Belarus, as far as the head of the administration, Andrei Kabiakou,
accepted citizens that day. However, he refused to accept me, though
I had filed an appropriate application. I think that the Presidential
Administration is a dangerous place for people, as far as its
officers intimidate citizens, setting the prosecutor's office and the
police against them, instead of solving their issues."
