Tractor Details and Aggregates Plant can be left without independent trade union as a result. Co-existence of two trade union organizations, the independent and the official one – dissatisfies the administration of the Babruisk enterprise. Workers are proposed wage bonuses (up to 1 million rubles) for leaving the independent trade union.

At the same time, according to an activist of the independent trade union Mikhail Kavalkou, the plant administration also threatens not to extend the labor contracts with members of the independent trade unions: "This is the negative resource when the heads of workshops, masters, etc. start summoning workers and telling them to leave the trade union for the fear of the non-extension of the contract, and so on. This the methods of struggle against the trade union. At present, people are afraid to join it, though I can state that about 95% of workers do support us. They say that there will be complete lawlessness at the enterprise without the trade union."

The people yield to these threats and leave the trade union. At present, there are less than 100 people in it. Meanwhile, the collective agreement expires on 25 March, and the plant administration threatens not to include members of the independent trade union in the new one.
