The civil initiative "Office Work in Belarusian!" submitted letters with proposals on the extension of the use of the Belarusian to all regional, city and village executive committees.

Every year, the campaign coordinator Ihar Sluchak and his allies address representatives of the local authorities and self-government with proposals on the promotion of the Belarusian language. "Some of the points remain unchanged from one year to another, while new ones keep appearing as well – for instance, financial rewards to those who use the Belarusian language in the office work, creation of Belarusian-language versions of websites, etc. Apart from this, one of the aims is to remind about the issue of the Belarusian language and find about the official view on it from representatives of the local authorities," stated Ihar Sluchak.

He stated that the promotion of the Belarusian language in the sphere of sports, advertisement, social services and networks were the priority directions of the campaign's activities for 2013.

"Office Work in Belarusian!" also addressed football clubs with the proposal to extend the use of the mother tongue. The football club "Home" answered that in 2012 the matches were announced in Belarusian and this practice would continue in 2013, whereas all other proposals on the Belaruziation would be read by the club administration to the crew and discussed. The football club "BATE" also demonstrated a positive attitude to the submitted proposals, promising that "measures aimed at more active use of the native language in the sphere of the Belarusian football may be taken in the new season".
