Tamara, the grandmother of political prisoner Yauheny Vaskovich, has not had letters from her grandson for the second month, the press service of the Belarusian Christian Democracy party reports.
She received the latest letter from Yauheny on March 28. The woman doesn't know if other people get letters from him. “I don't know what to think,” the woman says.
Political prisoner Yauheny Vaskovich has had 40 disciplinary sanctions since May 2011. He was thrown to a punishment cell for 20 times. He spent a total of 150 days there.
Yauheny Vaskovich, Artsiom Prakapenka and Pavel Syramolatau were tried together. Vaskovich was sentenced to 7 years in prison for an attempt to set fire to the door of the KGB building in Babruisk.
