The detention took place at about 3 p.m. on June 16, while Ales Silich, journalist of the Belsat independent TV channel, was making a story in Staubtsy district, where, according to some reports, a suspicious pig pestilence was recently noticed, the BAJ press-service reports.
The journalist was taken to the police station of Staubtsy district.
“After they wrote a report, a police car took him to the railway station, for which Ales thanked them. Nothing was taken. Now he is on his way back to Minsk,” said a representative of the channel Mikhas Yanchuk.
