Lieutenant colonel Aleh Byahunou and his subordinate Alyaksandr Kazakevich detained the activist near his house at 10 a.m. They took away his cell phone and asked him to follow them to the police office for “a preventive conversation”. Pavel Vinahradau does not understand what caused the conversation.
Pavel Vinahradau: “They warned me not to commit any violations – I cannot remember how may documents I had to sign there. I stayed there until 3.35 p.m. I do not know what it is connected with. They were probably afraid of my behaviour at Nyaklyayeu’s trial.”
It was a shame to lose most of the day staring at the ceiling in his inspector’ office, Vinahradau said. Nobody talked to him and nobody asked any questions.
