Baranavichy entrepreneur Mikalai Charnavus continues serving chary dinners
On 11 October
Baranavichy entrepreneur and social activist Mikalai Charnavus held a
charity dinner at the local co-op market in Chernyshevsky Street, 11.
Passers-by and entrepreneurs were treated pleased to treat themselves
to hot barley with meat and mushrooms.
This charity event was
held after the search the police held at his apartment on 10 October.
The police were looking for evidence of organizing and conducting of
an anti-corruption picket in Baranavichy on 30 September.
It's
worth noting that Mr. Charnavus reeived charges under Article 23.34,
part of the Code of Administrative Offenses for holding a charity
dinner in 2012 near his workplace at the central co-operative market
and on 19 November 2012 was sentenced to a fine of 3 million rubles
by Aksana Sarakhman, Judge of the Baranavichy City and District
Court.
Soon it will become known whether Mikalai Charnavus
will be punished for serving this dinner.
