Dismissed activist of Razam movement summoned to police station
Illia Dabratvor, activist of the Razam solidarity movement, has been summoned to Frunzenski district police department of Minsk, Radio Liberty’s Belarus service reports.
"This morning they phoned me. They said that the firm Kapsch complained that I allegedly threatened them with violence. I do not know what they mean. There was a trial on October 21, and I caught them on forging documents. But the company began to politicize the trial. I did not expect them to do this," said Illia to Radio Liberty’s reporter.
Illia is going to go to the police department to find out all the circumstances.
Illia Dabratvor believes his dismissal in September from the Belarusian branch of the Austrian company Kapsch was a politically motivated decision. He has also submitted a claim for reinstatement to the Frunzenski District Court of Minsk.
On this occasion, he picketed the office of the company in Minsk.
“We took out a banner “No to political dismissals”, made by the same inscription on the pavement, scattered leaflets,” said Illia.
