Brest police hold a prophylactic talk with Ryhor Hryk

On 10 December the head of the Baranavichy branch of the Trade Union of Radio Electronic Industry Ryhor Hryk was summoned for a prophylactic talk at the police station No. 3 Kasmanauty Street, 6.

“Six months ago, I was called for a talk by the headof the ideological department of the Baranavichy City Executive Committee Tatsiana Zhytko, who tried to persuade me to stop socio-political activities,” said Mr. Hryk.

Recently the trade union activist was summoned for a talk to the police. Senior Lieutenant Aliaksandr Ziankovich told Mr. Hryk about receiving an application from the head of the idelogical department of the Baranavichy City Executive Committee, Volha Dudko, who stated that unknown persons were posting anti-state newspapers and leaflets in public transport and at its stations.

Being asked whether he posted such leaflets and newspapers, Mr. Hryk answered that he didn't violate the public order and everything according to the law.
