Mikalai Statkevich passes holiday greetings to friends and relatives

His words were passed by his wife, Maryna Adamovich.

She reported that on Tuesday the politicla prisoner managed to call his relatives.

“This phone call from prison is a small gift, a Christmas miracle”, said Maryna Adamovich. “Mikalai told how he had celebrated the New Year. They arranged a festive supper with his cell-mate, which consisted of salad and pieces of the sardines cooked with innards, which are served for supper, and a cake made from bisquits. In addition, they were given a fir sprig. So, they managed to prepare for the holiday well enough.

He asked me to convey Christmas greetings to friends and associates, tjhose who support him, all good people, and thank all those who congratulated him and other political prisoners, for the support which is quite inspiring.”
