Biaroza human rights activists congratulated by Mikalai Autukhovich, Ales Bialiatski and Mikalai Statkevich
During the holidays, the political prisoners took the time to answer the congratulations of Biaroza human rights defenders and civil society activists.
Ales Bialiatski wrote that he was OK and had gotten used to the prison conditions". He reads, responds to letters, and so his days run. He wrote that 40 kilometers from Babruisk there was quite large and beautiful homestead where his father and grandfather were born. In the 1930-ies it was confiscated by Bolsheviks, everything was pilfered and looted. Their house was turned into a village council. "So, we can say that I am held in prison almost in my homeland”, jokes Ales. He also shared a postcard from Amnesty International, featuring his as seen through prison peephole.
Mikalai Autukhovich and Mikalai Statkevich optimistically wished the activists happiness and prosperity, energy and good mood.
