Political prisoner Parfiankou transferred to Horki

February 11 Vasil Parfiankou was transfered from pre-trial detention facility No. 7 in Zhodzina to correctional colony No. 9 in Horki.
December 5, the Pershamaiski Distinct Court of Minsk sentenced Mr. Parfiankou to a year in a maximum security correctional colony for “violating the rules of the preventive supervision”. The activist was placed under supervision at the beginning of 2013.
In 2011, Vasil Parfiankou was sentenced to 4 years in prison for participating in the post-election protests of December 19, 2010. He was pardoned and released some months later. He was put under preventive supervision after he had been arrested at pickets of solidarity with political prisoners in early 2012.
