Three people with criminal records run for Mahiliou City Council

These are Uladzimir Punchanka, Aliaksandr Kamkou and Ilyas Ilyasau Niyaz-agly. 44-year-old Uladzimir Punchanka is the director of the peasant farm "Uskhod"." In 1991 he was convicted under Article 201, part 2, 23-1 of the Criminal Code of the BSSR, "hooliganism”. He is running at Arlouskaya election consituency No. 12.

45-year-old Aliaksandr Kamkou is director of a limited liability company "Budmantazhreklama". In 2005 he was convicted under Article 424, part 2 of the Criminal Code "Abuse of power or official authority". He is running at Strusheuskaya constituency No. 21.

47-year-old Ilyas Ilyasau Niyaz-agly is an individual entrepreneur. In 1994 he was convicted under Article 213, part 3 of the Criminal Code "Illegal carrying, possession, purchase, manufacture or sale of weapons or explosives". He is running at Yamnitskaya election constituency No. 22.
