The Homel activists Zmitser Karashkou and Stanislau Bula who had been detained near the embassy of Russia in Minsk were sentenced to 15 and 11 days in custody respectively.
BelaPAN learned it from human rights activist Anastasiya Loika. Mr. Karashkou got a longer term, as it was his second trial for the last year.
The Tsentralny district court heard their cases for violating the rules of organizing and holding mass events or pickets (article 23.34 of the Code of Criminal Offenses).
Zmitser Karashkou and Stanislau Bula appeared in front of the Russian embassy with posters “Putin is enemy of Ukraine and Russia” and “Putin, hands off Ukraine. No war”.
