An activist of organizing committee for the creation of the National Bolshevik Party Alaksandr Paliakou, who was detained on 6 May in Minsk, is sentenced to administrative arrest at the second attempt.

Yesterday the judge Alena Niakrasava sent the report on administrative offence (Art.17.1 disorderly conduct) for the revision to the district police department. In the morning of May 6 Paliakou was brought to the court and then was sentenced to 10 days of arrest on the grounds that he was allegedly swearing in public.

Yeaterday the doors of apartments of Dzmitry Palienka, Dzianis Sakhar and Jauhen Kontush were being watched by the police officers and unidentified men in civilian clothes. Periodically, they were calling on the entrance intercom and on the doorbell and demanded from activists to go with them to the police station. Aliaksandr Paliakou was the only detained person.

Activists believe that the actions of law enforcement officials are related to the recent NBP action against politically motivated prosecutions, during which a banner “You cannot put everyone into jail!” was placed near the main entrance to the Chaliuskintsau park.
