Online monitoring of violations of the rights of students in universities
Violations of the rights of students are fairly common phenomenon in Belarusian universities.
Youth human rights group "Student Council" launches online monitoring, where each student who confronted the violation of students’ rights can post information about it and mark the violation on the map.
Why are we doing this?
Ales Krot, one of coordinators of the "Student Council" says: "Monitoring of violations of students’ rights and academic freedoms is intended for initial collection, processing and analysis of information on violations and will be useful in understanding the trends in the educational sphere. Monitoring results with the analysis of violations will be periodically posted on the organization's website. To assist in gathering information, students need to fill an online application-form in the Internet. Questionnaire is completely anonymous and personal information may be published only with the consent of the person who provided this information."
You can get acquainted with already recorded violations or leave information about your own case by following this link (in Russian).
