Preventive arrests on the eve of the military parade continue

On July 3 in the morning an activist of the United Civil Party Anton Zhylko was detained.

Policemen came right to the house of Anton Zhylko. They told that it was not an arrest, but an invitation “to a preventive conversation with the public security department chief of the of Partyzanski district of Minsk.” However, they refused to go away, so it was impossible to deny “the invitation”.

The activist was taken to the police department of Partyzanski district of Minsk. To the question of Anton’s friends, when he is to be released, an officer on duty in the police department told: “Don’t wait for him,” the press-service of the United Civil Party informs.

Anton Zhylko was released from prison not long ago. He served the term to which he had been sentenced while he was still a candidate for deputy during the local election campaign.

Activists Aleh Korban and Uladzimir Serhienka were detained in Minsk the day before.
