Brest journalist Yauhen Skrabets alleges the KGB proposed him "voluntary cooperation".

Mr. Skrabets wanted to get a job of the head of the department of tourism, marketing and foreign economic affairs at but depot No. 1 Brestoblavtotrans, Radio "Liberty" reports. The director of the company told him he could be employed after a conversation with two persons.

According to Skrabets, he was offered to sign a document on voluntary cooperation with the KGB. He was promised a job and a flat in an apartment block. Skrabets was supposed to continue his civil activity and inform the KGB about new youth movements in Brest and his Ukrainian friends who visit Belarus.

Skrabets refused to work for the secret services.
