August 9, individual entrepreneur Mikalai Charnavus applied to the Ministry for Taxes and Duties asking to oblige the head of the Baranavichyax Inspectorate to create a stand for the book of complaints and suggestions.

The appeal notes that on August 8 at 3.30 p.m. Mr. Charnavus visited the Inspection for Taxes and Duties in Baranavichy, but the department of the senior state tax inspector Ye. Bryzinskaya, consisting of six employees, was closed.

The individual entrepreneur asked the secretary of the head of the tax inspection to present to him the book of complaints. The officials kept redirecting the entrepreneur from one office room to another. Only after Mikalai Charnavus made several telephone calls to the Ministry on Taxes and Dues in Minsk and Brest, the complaint book was issued to him.

“It is more difficult to get the complaint book in Baranavichy Tax Inspectorate than to pay taxes. This book should be at hand, as is done in almost all public institutions, so that people wouldn't have to lose their time and energy looking for it,” commented Mr. Charnavus.

The civil society activist asks the Ministry to oblige the head of the Baranavichy Tax Inspectorate to establish a stand for the book of complaints and suggestions, so that the citizens could easily put in their comments, suggestions and initiatives. He also asks to punish the senior state tax inspector Ye. Bryzinskaya EV for the absence of her employees in the workplace.
