The founder of "Platform innovation" is arrested

The founder ofthe human rights organization"Platform innovation" (earlier -"Platform" liquidated by the decisionof the Economic Courtof Minskin 2012)MikhailZhamchuzhny wasarrestedin Vitebskin August, but there still was no information about the reasonsfor his arrest.

"There was little information on the reasons for the arrest of Mikhail Zhamchuzhny until now. It is known that the criminal case against him is started under Part 1 of Article 375 (intentional disclosure of economic, scientific, technical or other information which is an official secret by a person who has or had access to this information). And also under part 2 of article 376 (illegal producing or purchase for sale or sale of special technical means for secret information) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus", - writes Radio"Svaboda".

Members of the "Platform innovation" still have no information about the reasons of such charges made for Zhamchuzhny, and the lawyer was made to do a gag order.

Mikhail Zhamchuzhny is a former convict on economic case representative of the "Platform innovation" in Vitebsk, and before the sentence - associate professor of Vitebsk Technological Institute, PhD.
