BelSwissBank, the owner of the premises rented by TSEKH art centre, says it won't prolong the rental agreement. Art centre founder Yuliya Darashkevich wrote it on Facebook.

“I've visited BelSwissBank today and paid for the lease of the TSEKH premises. Our 'supervisor from the real property department asked to drop by. 'I'd like to congratulate you and give you our callendars,' she said,” Yuliya writes. “I was given a package of promotional items and a document signed by the bank's chairman of the board saying that the rental agreement with TSEKH won't be prolonged (it expires on February 13). I only heard an unclear explanation 'It doesn't depend on us'. It was an excellent year! It's wonderful we've spent it together.”

This is not the first scandal with similar centres. Art-Siadziba centre was evicted from premises in Instrumentalny Alley in Minsk on 1 May 2014 under a contrived pretext.
