It is very hard for the people serving their terms of personal restraint at the open correctional facility No. 7 in the village of Kuplin in the Pruzhany district, to keep to the daily routine.

According to the official rules, they have just 30 minutes for breakfast – 7.00 to 7.30 a.m. During 30 minutes 100 people have to cook their food by using just six stoves. It turns into some kind of competition, in which few people win. As a result, some of the prisoners have to eat the foodstuffs that don't require cooking. Many of them also have to violate the regime due to such hard time limits.

According to political prisoner Yury Rubtsou, one can draw violation reports everyday on almost every prisoner for violating the schedule. However, the authorities of the correctional institution use it only when it is necessary to punish someone.

The political prisoner also points out that though the convicted persons have to pay for themselves, 40% of them remain unemployed. The case of those who have to pay alimonies is the worst one – not only they don't have money to pay, they also have to ask their relatives to send them money so that they could buy food.
