Supreme Court upholds fine to Lohvinau
February 10, the panel of judges on economic affairs of the Supreme Court reviewed the verdict of the Economic Court of Minsk on the case of the publisher Ihar Lohvinau.
As reported by tut.by, the panel of judges upheld the decision to recover from the ex-owner of the bookstore "Lohvinau" a fine of 5.4 million rubles, as well as to confiscate the income of the enterprise for 2014 in the amount of 961 million roubles.
Let us remind that this verdict was taken by the Economic Court of Minsk January 9 on on the claim the Tsentralny District Tax Inspection of Minsk. The formal reason was the sale of books without the necessary license from the Ministry of information. The entrepreneur appealed the verdict of the first instance in the Supreme Court, but its verdict was unfavorable for the publisher.
