According to a new decision of the Pinsk city executive committee, rallies, meetings and pickets (except for demonstrations and marches) can now be held in five locations, while the previous regulation adopted in 2011 allowed staging protests in only three locations (stadiums of Prypiats and DTSAAF), as well as a stage in the city park.

The list has been updated to include a park in Zoya Kosmodemyianskaya Street and a garden at the memorial complex to WWII partisans in Pershamaiskaya Street.

The new decision mentions as a separate item that the organizers of events can be citizens, political parties, associations, trade unions, other organizations, who are officially registered, “with the exception of organizations of the Republic of Belarus whose activities have been suspended in accordance with the legislative acts”.
