Biaroza police question political activist about his job

The questioned member of the Conservative-Christian Party Andrei Kavalevich believes that the police were ordered to look for “social parasites”.

Several days ago Andrei Kavalevich was stopped by the police outdoors. The policemen told him they were allegedly looking for a sexual maniac and asked him to tell his surname, address and place of work. The activist introduced himself and told the place of his residence, but refused to tell where he was working as it had nothing to do with their alleged search.

Three days later he received a writ according to which he was to come to the police as a witness. However, the case was not mentioned. There he was asked only whether he had a job or how long he had been unemployed. Therefore, Mr. Kavalevich concluded that the police started looking for the candidates who would pay the levy introduced by police Decree No. 3 “About prevention of social dependency”.
