Judge Valery Kamisarau, who has started considering the cassation appeal of Volha Mikalaichyk, agreed to watch the video and find out whether she and Katsiaryna Sadouskaya had engaged in hooliganism next to the diplomatic building on April 29, BelSat reports.

On May 26 the women were accused of using foul words and resistance to police. They were sentenced to 13-day administrative arrest (Volha Mikalaichyk) and fine of about Br11 millions (Katsiaryna Sadouskaya). The performance during which they were trying to pass a "cosmetics bag" for pro-Putin bikers-propagandists (Night Wolves club) triggered the case.

That time the court denied the activists' lawyer motion and refused to use the video as evidence.

"The video must prove that we did not fight, resist or lied on the ground. Katsiaryna Sadouskaya is 70 years old, she is ill with diabetes. She cannot even have her legs bended, say nothing of lying on the ground. This trial was a bullying", Volha Mikalaichyk said.

A film director says the judge's decision is a good sign. She is still at large: after the verdict the public activist was not detained, however, he has not yet had her passport back that was ceased after the performance.

The date of the next hearing is unknown.
