The leaders of the Belarusian Christian Democracy Party have received an answer to their application to Minsk City Executive Committee for holding the constitutive assembly of the BCD at 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. on June 13, 2015 in Svaboda Square in Minsk. According to the deputy head of Minsk CEC Ihar Karpenka, “it is intended to hold another mass event since May 2 until September 13 on the territory of Svaboda Square”.

I received a reply from Minsk city executive committee for holding 13 June from 11:00 to 15:00 in
"Therefore, Minsk City Executive Committee doesn't allow you to hold a mass event in the form of an assembly with the participation of up to 300 people at 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. on June 13, 2015,” reads the letter.

"We filed this application in response to the fact that the Belarusian Christian Democracy has been denied in the lease of premises for its assembly on trumped-up reasons. Only after a call to the executive committee we were allowed to hold a meeting at the Culture House of Minsk Tractor Plant. If there are no provocations, the assembly will be held there. However, if they had authorized the assembly in Svaboda Square, we would be able to hold the assembly as well as the mass event,” pointed the co-Chair of the Belarusian Christian Democracy Vital Rymasheuski.
