Freelance journalist Kanstantsin Zhukouski has been fined 7,350,000 rubles by the Mazyr District Court. The journalist was found guilty of illegal manufacturing media products (Article 22.9 of the Administrative Code). Kanstantsin Zhukouski was convicted of shooting a video, which was broadcast by the TV channel Belsat.
On February 24, the Žlobin District Court fined the journalist 16 million rubles finding him guilty of the same offense.
Since the beginning of the year, Zhukouski has been repeatedly punished by different courts of the Homieĺ region. The amount of fines imposed on him currently exceeded 70 million rubles.
