Political prisoners Yan Falkin, Uladzislau Barysau and Mikita Litvinenko, together with the fourth defendant, Uladzimir Matsiukh, were sentenced to three and a half to five years in a medium-security prison.

Judge Dzmitry Astapenka sentenced today ten political prisoners to five to nine years in prison, finding them guilty under Art. 293 (rioting), Art. 218 (deliberate destruction or damage to private property) and Art. 295 of the Criminal Code (illegal actions with firearms, ammunition and explosives).

16.07.2021 Two more people sentenced for coordination during protests
On 15 July the trial of political prisoners Mikalai Shemetau and Anastasia Tarelkа, accused of organizing and active participation in group actions that grossly violate public order (part 1 and part 2 of Article 342 of the Criminal Code), started at the Centralny District Court of Minsk for participation and coordination during the Sunday marches in August and September 2020.
