Andrei Tsianiuta, co-chair of the Young Front opposition movement, has been expelled from the Frantsysk Skaryna Homel State University. The activist was studying law in his third year, Young Front’s press-service reports.

Institute of Journalism of the Belarusian State University expelled another active student, member of the Movement "For Freedom" Mikita Semianenka. As stated by the Institute leadership, he was expelled for academic failure, as Mikita did not get a credit in one of the subjects.

March, 11, residents of the agrotown of Vialikaya Mashchanitsa (Bialynichy district of the Mahiliou region) filed a collective appeal to the head of the department of education of the Mahiliou Regional Executive Committee. In this address the residents of the agrotown require the Department of Education to keep the secondary school in Maschanitsa, which the authorities are going to turn into a basic school (educating schoolchildren for 9 years instead of 11) without any public discussion.
