On 10 November at 10 p.m. the police detained the activist of the Young Front Mikalai Dzemidzenka who had taken part in the action in support to the young oppositionists who had been tried at Leninski district court for holding an anticommunist picket near the KGB office on 7 November.

The police have detained a citizen of Belarus who is suspected in relation to the blast that had taken place on 4 July in the morning in Minsk. Till lately, 21-year-old Alexander Koryk has worked at the Uladpradimpart enterprise.

29.09.2008 Activists persecuted after rally on September 28
Late evening, after the rally on Kastrychnitskaya Square, the police detained several protesters. Andrei Zubarau, Heorhi Paulenka, and Siarhei Piatrouski are among the detained. We are trying to find out the names of the other detained activists.
Several rally participants, Franak Viachorka among them, were severely beaten by strangers at the crossing of Bahdanovicha and Niakrasava streets.

The first detentions on the eve of the action of protest in Kastrychnitskaya Square have been registered already. Several hours ago the police detained a youth activist Uladzimir Shved near the apartment of the deputy-head of the Young Front Arthur Finkevich.
22.09.2008 Polatsak: Detentions for distributing newspaper Vybar
Polatsak police drew up reports on youth activists Ales Krutkin from Polatsak and Kastus Ivanou from Vitebsk. The guys accused of distribution of printed materials without publisher’s data had to spend 1.5 hours in the police station. When the reports were drawn up, the police informed them they would receive summons to court or administrative commission.
The police officers did not return 228 copies of Vybar newspaper that advocates for boycott of the parliamentary election.
16.09.2008 Beaten for a white-red-white flag
The police detained Andrus Tsianiuta, activist of Young Front, during the celebration of the Day of the City. In the evening of September 13th Andrus was walking to a concert in the Ice Palace with a white-red-white flag. The policemen pulled the Young Front activist out of the crowd, knocked him down and beat him.
Andrus says, the policemen dislocated his finger and injured his knee.
