06.03.2012 Uladzimir Katsora appeals fine at UN Human Rights Committee
On 5 March Homel oppositionist Uladzimir Katsora filed an individual communication with the UN Human Rights Committee. The activist is of the opinion that the Belarusian authorities who were represented by the police officers who detained him and fined for the organization of a People's Assembly, violated Articles 19 and 21 of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights – the right to disseminate information and freedom of peaceful assemblies.

05.03.2012 Pavel Vinahradau tried again
Pavel Vinahradau, activist of the civil campaign "Tell the Truth!" was to have been released from jail on 2 March, after serving 10-day arrest for participation in an "unauthorized picket of toys" on Nezalezhnasts Square in Minsk.
05.03.2012 Dziarzhynsk: fines for solidarity with Bialiatski
The activists of the "European Belarus" Uladzimir Dzenisevich and Aliaksandr Tarnahurski were sentenced to pay 700,000 rubles and 350,000 rubles fines for violating part 2 of Article 21.14 of the Code of Administrative Offenses.
02.03.2012 Zinaida Mikhniuk applies to Supreme Court
On 8 October 2011 Zinaida Mikhniuk, an organizer of the People's Assembly in Brest, was preventively detained by the police before the event. She was subsequently charged with “using foul language” and fined 70,000 rubles by court, which ignored the testimonies of a woman who saw the detention.

10.02.2012 Baranavichy: Mikalai Charnavus gets fined by court
On 10 February the Baranavichy City Court considered administrative case against the head of the steering committee of the Ukrainian diaspora association “Kobzar”, Mikalai Charnavus. Judge Stanislau Pivavarau summoned to the trial a representative of the Baranavichy City Executive Committee Siarhei Piatsihorau and police major Vital Dabrachynski.
