The UN Human Rights Committee has registered one of the complaints submitted by the Zhlobin members of the Left Party “Fair World” to challenge a ban imposed on a number of pickets by the local district executive committee in 2012. This was announced by head of Fair World’s district office Valery Rybchanka.

25.02.2013 Six months wasted for Minsk Regional Court takes to rule in Young Front activist’s case
Andrei Tychyna, Salihorsk activists of the Young Front opposition movement, has finally received a ruling by Minsk Regional Court, six months after he submitted his appeal to challenge a ban on holding a bike ride. It wasn’t until the case was addressed by representatives of the central office of the Belarusian Helsinki Committee that the struggle of the young opposition activist with the judicial bureaucracy had been put an end to.
18.02.2013 Mahiliou Regional Court upholds KGB’s supervision over BCD activist
The Court of Mahiliou Region dismissed today a complaint lodged by Aleh Aksionau, local activist of the Belarusian Christian Democracy, to demand the cancellation of supervision measures imposed on him by the KGB. The activist says he is preparing a complaint to the President of the Regional Court.
